December 2015 News from the office...
Dear Friends,
Christmas has been the season
of spreading good cheer, of
spending time with your family
and of sharing, caring and
giving. Of love and compassion
and of family bonding.
Christmas is a good time to
teach your family, especially
children about values like love,
compassion, giving and sharing.
Try to include the whole family
in different Christmas activities
like festival related cooking,
decorating the house and the
tree and wrapping up gifts etc.
Decorating your home with a tree,
wreath and lights, baking cookies and
watching Christmas movies together
are some of the best memories that
you can have with your children this
Christmas season. Friendly reminder
during this hectic time of the year;
Enjoy the season and try to keep as
normal routine as you can for your
little ones. Structure and routine are
very important for children; it helps
keep them balanced and comfortable
too.
Thank you so much for your wreath
purchase the funds raised will be used
Countdown to Christmas Ideas for
the Family:

November was a beautiful and
colorful time for all of the
children. They especially loved
playing in the leaves and
watching them fall to the ground
as they sang fall songs. The
children had a great time visiting
with the Creature Teacher and
her pet Hedgehog– it was so
much fun too! The children
really enjoyed dressing up as
pilgrims, Indians and turkeys in
the gross motor room. They
especially loved beating on the
drums and playing in the tee pee.
We hope everyone had a
beautiful Thanksgiving full of
love and laughter.
The teachers and Ms. Holly have
prepared a great curriculum for
December discussing the smells,
sights and sounds as they travel
around the world learning how
Christmas is celebrated
everywhere. If you have any

your family gift and encourage
your little one to hide it under the
tree until Christmas day.
Many of you have asked what
you could give the teachers for
gifts; please feel free to contact
the office or read the teachers
blurbs in your child’s packets.
