Summer Day Camp
Summer 2014 promises to be extraordinary as fun takes over at
the Conroe YMCA. Children will look forward to swimming, archery,
canoeing, horseback riding, sports, climbing wall, zip line, games and
crafts*. This summer—get up, get out and PLAY! For older youth,
don’t miss out on Y Teen Camp.
(*Activities are weather permitting. Some activities depend upon age.)
Day Camp

All of the fun of day camp without the camp feel—teen camp is the

Campers should bring a backpack, water bottle, snacks, lunch,
sunscreen/bug spray, swimming suit, towel and change of clothes.
Teen Camp will enjoy a field trip on Wednesdays.
Sign up weekly! Limited space available so register early. Financial
assistance offered through Workforce Solutions/NCI. Registration
deadline is the Wednesday prior to camp start date; a $30 late fee
applies to registrations and payments received after that date.
Payments must be scheduled from credit/debit card.

Be prepared! Please gather the following information before beginning enrollment:
√Your child’s shot record
√Insurance information
√Emergency contact information (not parent or guardian)
√Payment information
√Doctor information
√Release of contact information
√Registration fee
Get started! Please allow at least 20 minutes to complete your camper’s online registration.
1. Visit ymcahouston.org/online-account-access.
2. Select “Click here to manage your account” near the bottom of the screen.
3. Sign in or set up your online account.
4. Go to program search and use the keywords “Conroe Day Camp.”
5. Choose the appropriate age group heading and select the weeks your child will attend.
6. Click register. Select your child’s name.
7. Acknowledge the waivers and complete the questionnaire in its entirety.
8. Review your registrations. Note that the one-time registration fee will be due at this time.
All weekly camp payments will be scheduled for the Wednesday prior to the camp start date.
9. Select or add the billing method (credit/debit) that you wish to use.
10. Almost done! Print and sign your child’s questionnaire and drop it off at the Conroe Family
YMCA. You may also visit the Conroe Y to sign a copy of your child’s records.
11. Registration is complete! An exciting summer of adventures awaits at the Y Day Camp!
Special note: Pick-up and drop-off for Camp Netop (ages 5-8) is underneath the Y (follow driveway to main
entrance). Camp Owen (ages 9-11) and Teen Camp (ages 12-14) pick-up/drop-off location is at Camp Owen
pavilion (follow road parallel to equestrian center).
