Scripture Memory Challenge
When Jesus taught his first followers what kind of
people will produce fruit in his kingdom, he said it is
“those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain
it, and by persevering produce a crop.” (Luke 8:15). We
want to be that kind of community! Each month, our
church family strives to memorize a key verse from the
Bible and learn what it means.
February Verse - Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the
first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:
‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the
Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Pregnancy Centers has started. The funds you collect will help
save lives, spare hearts, and share the gospel. It's easy to
participate! Pick up a bottle in the lobby and fill it with coins,
cash and checks over the coming weeks. Bring it back to the
church before Sunday, March 19th, and know that you are
making a positive difference in the lives of women and
children in your community.
***UPDATE***
CNPRC's are so grateful for the generosity of those of
Greenwich Presbyterian supporting their ministry. There were
11 baby bottle returned this past Sunday, 1-29-17, and were
filled with coins, cash and checks in the amount of $531.46!!

The Bull Run Republican Women's Club
"Assault Prevention for Women"
Saturday, March 18
10 AM – 1 PM
The Bull Run Republican Women's Club is holding a
situational awareness and self-defense for women by an expert
in the field.
The class will be taught by John Desmedt, ASAIC, Firearms
and Physical Skills Training, U.S. Secret Service (Ret.). He
served on President Reagan's protective detail, and is the
owner of Protective Safety Services (PSS), which trains law
enforcement Instructors and Executive Protection Teams,
locally, nationally and internationally. Mr. Desmedt is
providing his expertise at no cost to you or to the Bull Run
Club, for which we are extremely grateful.
Because of limited seating, an RSVP is required. There is no fee
to attend, but we would appreciate a voluntary donation of $5,
if you are able, to cover the cost of refreshments and a donation
to the church in appreciation for the use of the facilities. This
donation is completely voluntary, and all women who reserve
a seat will be welcomed.
Ladies, please feel free to invite your friends and family
members. Please note that the class is for women only. We
suggest that attendees be age 16 or above due to the nature of
the discussion, but we will leave the decision to the parents
as to whether younger girls are mature enough to attend.
