Younger Agency Awarded Extension on Grand Junction Regional
Airport Advertising Concession
The Younger Agency of Reno, Nev. is proud to announce it has been granted a five-year
extension on its contract as advertising concessionaire at Grand Junction Regional Airport in
Grand Junction, Colo. The Younger Agency was initially awarded a five-year contract in 2008
and successfully developed and implemented a new advertising program for the terminal.
“Grand Junction Regional Airport has been a great success for our company,” said Liz
Younger, President and Owner of The Younger Agency. “In the past five years we have really
been able to maximize the advertising program and generate non-airline revenue for the Airport.
We look forward to continuing to grow the program over the next five years.”
The Younger Agency has increased advertising revenue at Grand Junction Regional
Airport by 56% over the previous concessionaire.
During the first term, The Younger Agency partnered with the local university, Colorado
Mesa University, to create a custom display in the main terminal lobby. It consists of a digital
screen and framed wall wrap. Sportsman’s Warehouse also has a unique display in the main
terminal lobby that has become quite an attraction. Airport customers can take photos with a large
stuffed bear, and the site has even been mentioned on the social media site Foursquare.
