AIFIR2000
"Negative Ions" - negatively charged atoms, particles or complex
particles which have a higher number of electrons than normally.
Studies indicate their positive effects on human body. "Negative ions"
in the air or water spray (example: water near large public water
fountain) act relaxing, unwinding, calming and may provide soothing
effect during the course of illness.
The amount of negative ions varies depending on an environment. In
the cities, amount of negative ions in the air is between 0 and several

hundred particles per cm with exception of locations close to large
public water fountains where there is significantly more of them. In the
mountains, and especially nearby mountain springs and waterfalls,

presence of negative ions may exceed 1000 particles per cm , and
sometimes even several thousands. The strength of negative ions can
be also attributed to minerals and their natural radiation. In addition,
whether related atmospheric discharge and conditions contribute to a
creation of negative ions.
The most common and necessary chemical compound for live to exist
is water, which in itself contains natural negative ions (examples:
waterfalls and mountain springs). However, commonly available water
at home requires conditioning in a sense of adding quantities of
negative ions (ionizing).
Ionized water can be easily absorbed by human body. It positively
affects many of body’s physiological processes, such as: balancing pH
level of bodily fluids, boosting body’s cleansing abilities and
scavenging free radicals which may contribute to acceleration of aging
processes and cancer.
