Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute THE PERLA’S LEADERSHIP AWARD Terms: Through a special gift, the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute at Seton Hall University is able to provide grants to selected students of Latino/Hispanic heritage. This grant is available to currently enrolled undergraduate Seton Hall students for the fall or spring semester. Awarded students are not eligible to reapply within one academic year Eligibility: There are a limited number of grants that can be awarded each semester, therefore selection is competitive. To qualify for consideration, students must meet the following criteria: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at Seton Hall Must be Latino or of Latino/Hispanic heritage For sophomore, junior and seniors in the fields or Arts, Sciences, Business Must have a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative GPA at Seton Hall Prior to applying, students must have been actively involved in the Institute Students selected will be required to actively collaborate in the planning and execution of at least two events for the Unanue Institute during one semester. (Minimum 10 hours total) Selection: These grants will be awarded to selected students based on academic performance, involvement in the Seton Hall community and financial need. Award notification will be sent to all applicants 4-6 weeks after the application deadline informing them whether or not they have received the award. Grant funds will only be credited to the student’s bursar account. Instructions: Please complete the application form below and return it to the Joseph A.
