th Monday 6 February 2017 NEWSLETTER Theme Of The Week: Courage Enriching the curriculum s Reed shared the story of Caedmon the monk who lived a long time ago. Caedmon loved singing his song to the animals but was terrified of singing in front of the other monks. One night an angel visited Caedmon and told him to sing for the other monks. Even though he was scared, Caedmon knew that it was the right thing to do. When the other monks heard his song, they thought it was so good that they wrote it down so that it could be shared with others, and it is still sung today. We asked for the courage to do the right thing, even when we feel scared. Congratulations to the following pupils who were chosen for showing courage.
