ABOUT MGSO4
MGSO4, the first ever Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival, will be held on 24-26 June 2016 bringing
together the community in an exciting creative celebration. The festival will showcase:
music, art, photography, dance, theatre, literature and film.
The name MGSO4 is inspired by the chemical formula for Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate).
The festival has been created by volunteers as a not-for-profit event to be enjoyed by everyone. With live
performances, workshops, talks, exhibitions and extraordinary events, the borough will be transformed into
a creative hub.
As well as hosting inspiring events with established artists, musicians and performers, MGSO4 will be
supporting people from all parts of the community to get creative, working with local groups including
Age Concern, The Sunnybank Trust, Phab and all schools.
We hope that MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival will become an annual event on the arts calendar,
attracting an audience from across the South East.
