He has served on the Boards of various children and community based organisations; he was also the Chairperson of the Land Bank and served on the Board of the South African Broadcasting Corporation. Dr Ngubane joined the Board of Directors of Eskom as a Non-Executive Director on 11 December 2014 and was appointed as interim Chairman of the Board of Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd on 30 March 2015, in which capacity he currently serves. Mr Brian Molefe (48) Group Chief Executive ARC, P&G, SES, IFC Mr. Molefe’s qualifications include the following: Honorary Doctorate in Engineering, University of Glasgow Caledonian; Masters of Business Leadership, University of South Africa; PostGraduate Diploma in Economics, London University, School of Oriental and African Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce, University of South Africa. USA, 2009), Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School (Boston 2006); and Executive Programme at Wharton Business School (Philadelphia USA, 2003). Mr Anoj Singh Mr Romeo Kumalo (43) Chief Financial Officer ARC, IFC Mr. Singh qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000. He has over 15 years’ experience in Finance; Auditing; Commercial; Strategy Development and Execution; Financial Risk Modeling and Management; Treasury and Capital Project Management. Mr Singh was prevously the CFO of Transnet SOC Ltd. Independent non-executive ARC, IFC, RBP Romeo, the current CEO of Vodacom International, is an accomplished executive, with over 20 years’ experience in the information and communications technology industry. He is a commercial strategy expert, with a proven track record of building successful teams and turning around underperforming businesses. Pat is a registered professional engineer, a specialist consultant and an Adjunct Professor of Power Engineering at the Durban University of Technology. He has three decades of experience in the electricity industry with Eskom and the South African Power Pool. He serves on the Council of South African Institute of Electrical Engineers and is a member on the executive committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers South Africa and Cigre SA. Ms Mariam Cassim (33) Independent non-executive ARC, SES Ms Cassim until recently held a number of senior positions in Thebe Investment Corporation. She currently holds the position of Executive Head: Commercial at Telesure Investment Holdings. Her experience lies in auditing, corporate finance, new business development and organisational strategy. A recipient of various academic awards (both local and international), Ms Cassim is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and has also completed a MBA (Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business.
