Ana
: Good afternoon, Mr. Grey. First, I would like to thank you for giving us time for this interview
despite your very busy schedule.
Mr. Grey : It’s my pleasure. What is your name?
Ana
: I am Ana Crawford, sir. Can I ask a few things about your job as a businessman? Our topic is
about occupation and tasks. What are the basic tasks of a businessman?
Mr. Grey : Sure. Different businessmen can have different targets. In my case, I focus on marketing and
trading. I focus on finding new ways to promote the product and the possible target market.
With regard to trading, we focus on commerce and which product we should buy and sell.
Ana
: How about your parents, what do they do? Can I also ask about them?
Mr. Grey : Sure. My parents are both working in the medical field. My father is a medical technician. He
is a medical laboratory scientist that analyzes and tests body fluids and tissues. My mother is an
obstetrician / gynecologist. She deals with pregnant women and female reproductive organs.
Ana
: Wow, so they’re a family of doctors. I wonder why you didn’t pursue a medical career.
Mr. Grey : Well, I wanted to have my own path. My sister is a dentist, so all my family focused on
medicine.
Honestly, I took a nursing course first when I was in college, but I realized it was not my thing,
so I moved to business administration.
