“Help for Students at School”
Public schools in California have a wide assortment of services that are designed to
help students be successful in the classroom. Private schools also provide services,
though not as many. Some schools are more active than others in identifying children
who are struggling in school. It is, therefore, important for parents & guardians to be
aware of the various services available to help students learn, so they can advocate for
their children’s academic needs. The workshop will describe in detail both general &
special education services & how to get them.
