History
Founded in 1974, WRCT is one of Americas oldest
continuously operating public access stations.
Originally
known as York Community Access Television (YCAT), it was
re-branded to WRCT when it became a Public Education and
Government (PEG) station in 2005.
Partnership
In 2015 WRCT partners with Weary Arts Group (WAG). WAG
is a collective of arts industry professionals providing a wide
variety of arts training and education for people of all ages.
WAG’s primary goal is to create sustainable arts
programming for the residents of York, PA and the
surrounding communities.
Weary Arts Group is dedicated to the promotion of artists and
arts education in York, Pennsylvania and around the world.
