Robert Cohen McCaig was born Mar. 23rd
at 3:05 pm. Cohen weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. &
was 21.5 in. long. Matt & Toria are
extremely happy & Leah is very excited to
be a BIG sister! Doug and Terry McCaig are
the doting grandparents & Terry’s mom is
a Great Grandma!!

audience in an Irish Singalong.

Nancy created a timeline and then each card of event information was chosen by a person
in the audience. They read the event out loud and people made suggestions as to when &
where the Canadian event should go over the 150 years. It was a very interesting!!

5:30 pm Doon Presbyterian Church at 35 Roos St. Doon is hosting a ‘Pulled Pork Dinner’ & at
7 pm a Concert only $15 or Dinner only $10, & both $25. Pay in advance or at the door.
Proceeds will go towards Doon’s Summer Camp Ministry.
Tues. Apr. 11: 7 pm continued Bible/Video Study with Rev. Jane.
Wed. Apr. 12: 11 am Speaker(s) from “Wellspring” will explain their ‘Support’ available for
Cancer patients, 12 noon Seniors Soup & Dessert Luncheon.

Communion by Intinction. 7:45 pm Choir rehearsal
Fri. Apr. 14: 10:30 am Good Friday Community Service with Reverends Jane, Deborah,
MaryLu and Lawrence participating at Mount Carmel Zion United Church in Morriston.
10:30 am-12:15 pm: ‘Pancake Brunch’ at Duff’s with fruit, juice, coffee, tea, bacon, sausage,
muffins & much more!! Prepared by the Teachers & Friends/Family with help from the
children to clear dishes or serve. Donations will be appreciated to help with the cost of the
Church School Program.
Sun. Apr. 16: 10:30 am Easter Sunday Service at Duff’s-celebrating “Jesus is Risen”!! The
Children will stay for the Special Service today. 11:30 am Coffee, Cookies & Conversation

Thurs. May 4: 8 pm “Grand River Voices” present their ‘SPRING Show’ at
Duff’s…ALL Welcome! Enjoy the wonderful singing, the musicians accompanying them
and the Emcee Tony Hastings!! Adults $20, Seniors $15 …Try your luck with the 50/50
draw OR the raffle tickets for the Basket of Goodies!! Enjoy Refreshments after the show!!
