The part of society that is agricultural has become so small that most people are unaware of the skill required to successfully be a Farmer. The present Waterford World’s Fair is dedicated to preserving our rural heritage by showcasing what agriculture is all about. Children obtain a gathering basket and proceed along a path that includes a garden, grain bin, apple orchard, chicken coop, etc. After gathering particular items along the way they get the chance to sell these items at the Farmers Market for a “Fair dollar” to spend at the Country Store at the end. Come check it out!! . Conservation & Agriculture Event Friday July 15th 10:00 – 2:00 Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is planning a day of fun and education to the Fair. You will have the opportunity to go through many hands-on events. This is a wonderful opportunity for Families to explore something new and learn about the world around them.
