Rules and Conditions of Entry
Banwen Miners Hunt, it’s officials, agents cannot be held responsible for any
accident, theft, loss or damage, howsoever caused, arising out of or at the show.
Each competitor (or where applicable, the parent or guardian) shall be solely
responsible for consequences of loss or damage done to, or arising from, any
animal and indemnify the Banwen Miners Hunt, officials, agents, invitees, and
show ground owners against all liabilities, damages, actions, claims, proceedings,
costs and/or expenses in relation to or arising from his/her entries in the show.
Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted
No miss-use of whips, spurs, or practise jumps will be allowed.
No refund of entry fee will be given.
The judge’s decision is final.
Any objection must be lodged with the secretary within 15 minutes of the end
of the class concerned together with a £5.00 deposit, returnable if the objection is
sustained.
The committee reserves the right to refuse entry to any class without
explanation except to the appropriate body.
The committee cannot be held responsible for any error in time schedule, and
reserves the right to cancel or amend the same in any way.
If anyone falls off, jumping or showing, they must leave the arena. You may
jump a fence at the judge’s discretion.
It is a condition of entry that the above rules and conditions are complied with.
The committee advise that all children under 12 years should use safety stirrups
and wear body protectors
Classes will be split Junior/Senior provided there are sufficient entries in each
class (juniors -under 16 yrs of age)
Seniors may jump ponies and juniors horses but they must be the correct size
for the animal they ride
Any rider starting to jump before the whistle will be eliminated and riders must
stop jumping if the whistle blows during their round and cannot restart the round
until the whistle has been blown again, failure to do this will result in elimination
Clear round – Three refusals and competitors must
leave the arena.
In all classes, rosettes to 6th place, Juniors and Seniors to be split for
rosettes providing there are sufficient entries.
2nd round jump off in all classes if required.
