WESTSIDE ISLAND
TOUR

of Curacao and enjoy nature at her best. With different kinds of stops like Sheta Boca & Grote

CHRISTOFFELBERG
MOUNTAIN HIKING

We recommend you the hiking tour on Christoffelberg with Carlos.
The Christoffelberg, also known as Mt St Christoffel, named after the explorer Christopher
Columbus, is the highest point on Curacao. The Christoffelberg is 1,220 ft. (372 m.) high and
lies in the reserved wildlife park, Curacao Christoffelpark. It is quite a climb but once on top
you will be rewarded with the best view over the island. On a clear day you can even see
Bonaire! Carlos will stay and support you during hiking and provide you some refreshments.

OSTRICH FARM
& ALOE PLANTATION
3 hours
Visit the largest Ostrich farm outside Africa. You will be able to touch them, feed them and
even ride them. After enjoying these fascinating birds Carlos will bring you to the Aloe
Plantation. As the name implies, the plantation concentrates on producing in the most
ecological way possible and does not use any chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizer. Next
and final stop is the St. Joris bay where you have a nice view of the north side of the island.

DISCOVER HISTORIC OTROBANDA
WALKING TOUR

Visit Punda & Otrobanda, the two oldest city’s of Willemstad. Carlos will show you all the
highlights; you will visit the local floating market, the Synagoge, Riffort and enjoy a delicious
local lunch at Plaza Bieu which is absolutely worth the visit!

Did you know Carlos is also a qualified dive master?!
You already have your dive certification, or you want to take an introduction dive? Carlos will
take you to the most beautiful reef at the best spots! Diving with Carlos is perfect for
experienced and beginner divers.
Not yet certified and don't fancy diving, no problem Carlos also knows the best spots to
snorkel. Meet the reef inhabitants such as; turtles. seahorses, eels, rays, colorful fishes &
corals, and much more...
Carlos can also bring an underwater camera to take pictures and movies while you explore the
underwater world.

SUBSTATION

On the Caribbean island of Curaçao anyone can now
discover the sea at a depth of 1.000 feet (320meters).
Substation Curaçao launches Curasub, the world's most
spectacular certified mini-submarine for tourists. The
Curasub descends four times a day from Bapor Kibra
to unreachable depths for divers. Onboard, submarine
passengers make a memorable journey to places
where very few people have ever been.
The colorful fish, corals and old shipwrecks are perfectly visible in the crystal clear waters
that surround the island of Curaçao. From inside the Curasub passengers have a clear view
with visibility of over 60 feet (30m). The design of the Curasub is based on the well proven 30
year old Aquarius submarine, which today is still operational.
All systems have been certified by Germanischer Lloyd’s, meeting and exceeding the highest
safety standards.
Unlike SCUBA-diving, submarine-diving has no effects of pressure change on the body. This
means that people who are unfit to dive because of medical reasons are almost always
allowed to dive with the submarine. People with ear-problems, cardiac disease, lung

DOLPHIN ACADEMY
Enjoy a unique experience with the dolphins and let the informative programs reveal the
mammal behind the myth in a fun informational, responsible and educational way.

Touch, hug and kiss a dolphin while learning all about them. You will
stand in waist deep water for 15-20 min. as the dolphin allows you to
gently pet him or her.

DOLPHIN SWIM ~ 1 hour
Enjoy the unique and intimate experience of real interaction with the
dolphins for 20-30 min. while swimming in their natural lagoon. You will

DOLPHIN SNORKEL ~ 1 hour
Submerge yourself in the dolphin world and free snorkel with them in
their natural lagoon. The dolphins will dive down alongside. You will
participate in an echolocation and experience an underwater dorsal ride
and have 20/30 min. interaction with the dolphins.
Minimum age is 8 years old. Minimum height 1.30m/ 51 inches. A snorkel set and fins
are obligatory. All interaction takes place below the surface. You have to be an
experienced snorkeler.
DOLPHIN SCUBA ENCOUNTER ~ 1 hour
Get up close and personal with a dolphin for 20/30 min. in their world.
As you scuba in the lagoon you will meet the dolphin face to face. You
can't get closer then this! No dive certification needed.

Trip to Klein Curacao
Sail with the Jonalisa to Klein Curaçao, the paradise island with crystal clear
water, white beaches and sea turtles!
When we depart we serve sandwiches for breakfast. It takes about one and a half
hour to get there. You can go treasure hunting on the island, sunbathe or relax in
the shade on the beach. There is also some fine snorkeling and you can explore the
coral reefs.
For our way back to Curaçao we will hoist the sails for some nice sailing while you
can enjoy a delicious drink in the meantime!
