Dr. Seuss Week Themed Days
(February 27-March 3)
We have many standards-based learning activities
planned for next week to celebrate Dr. Seuss’
birthday, which was on March 2nd. Here are a few of
the activities.
 Monday- Wear your pajamas to school. We will read Dr.
Seuss books about sleep.
 Tuesday- Wear a shirt that has an animal on it. We will read
different Dr. Seuss books about animals.
 Wednesday- Wacky feet day. Wear wacky socks to school.
We will read Dr. Seuss books about feet and Wacky
Wednesday.
 Thursday- Wear green. We will read the Bartholomew and
the Oobleck and Green Eggs and Ham.
 Friday- Wear black. (Black shirt and black pants- if
possible) At school, students will become the “Cat in the
Hat”. Bring your hat you made. We will read The Cat in the
Hat and The Cat and the Hat Comes Back.
---If by some chance we are out of school due to weather, we will still keep the
same dress up days for each day.
For example: If we would be out on Monday, we will just skip the pajama day.
