INTRO Do your children love to: play games, run around, jump obstacles, roll down hills, make friends, and have FUN? Do you think they would love to do all that, while they learn how to GOLF?! ... The answer is undeniably, YES! Birdie Bombers PROGRAM OVERVIEW By this point, it is quite apparent that we are emphasizing FUN. We will continue to teach the proper FUN-damentals, rules and etiquette to our juniors. We will spend time covering these topics: FUN-DAMENTALS For years, Junior camps around the world have been teaching basic golf fundamentals, rules, and etiquette. Yes, the old programs were productive, but where was all the FUN?! Our new Get Golf Ready- Birdie Bombers Program will introduce FUN, golf-related exercises and activities to our existing golf instruction! We will spend roughly 30 minutes on basic instruction, alongside 30 minutes of FUN activities and exercises! FITNESS & NUTRITION All of our youth baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and swimming camps have been implementing FUN activities to build strength, speed, endurance, and hand-eye coordination. They also urge healthy lifestyles to grow these future athletes to be as good and healthy as possible. Why hasn’t golf? That’s what we are scratching our heads over. Years of research has taught us how important fitness and nutrition is to the golf swing. The balance learned from walking across a balance beam relates directly to the balance required for a great golf swing. The speed and weight transfer involved with swinging a golf club can be improved by throwing a ball as far as they can. Get GOLF Ready Birdie Bombers $125 PER STUDENT Ages 5 - 14 Session 1: JUNE 5TH - JUNE 9TH Ages 5-9 11am Ages 10-14 12pm Here is a list of some of the FUN activities and exercises we will be doing through the program: • Cone Cruise: weaving in between cones while walking or jogging • Leap Frog: jumping over clubs or baskets under control • Boulder Toss: tossing medicine balls sideways in a golf swing motion • Pitch and Catch: focusing on hand-eye coordination to catch and throw • Barrel Roll: rolling down hills to learn rotation and body control • Pirate Plank: walking along 2x4’s to learn stability and balance • Tic Tac Toe: putting to a tic tac toe board on the green • And many more FUN activities and exercises!
