Join the Babysitter Connect Service!
Edina Community Education-Youth Programs and Edina Resource Center, both
programs of the Edina School District sponsor a Babysitter Connect Service. It
is offered as a courtesy to both Red Cross-certified babysitters looking for jobs
and families in Edina looking for babysitters.
We compile a list of babysitters who have taken or are taking the Red Cross
Babysitter Training Classes through Edina Community Education. The list will be
distributed to families who request information about babysitters through Edina
Resource Center.
The information on the list will include:
Nearest School to Babysitter’s residence
Babysitter’s Parent’s Name
Sitter’s Name and age (optional)
Phone number/Email
The sitter’s name will be kept on the list for one year. Names can be removed
from the list at any time or updated for another year. This list will only be offered
to families living in Edina. Please conduct your own interview with the family
before your child accepts a job from them. It is important for you to decide if
your child is a good fit for the position.
If you are interested in participating in the Babysitter Connect Service, please fill
out the Disclaimer Form and Babysitter information forms attached, and return it
to the instructor of the babysitting class or send it to:

Note: This form is to be signed by the parent of the student in the
babysitting course and returned with the Babysitter Information form.
