predicted their success, and who predicted
that Greece would win Euro 2004!
So here at Treasure Trails we have created
a fun way for you to predict the winner. It
is a form of Trail that utilises the mysterious
powers of ‘Lady Luck’ to help you pick the
winning team.

Family Sweep
Stake
We’ve called it the ‘Trail of Destiny’
and you can either use it for yourself to
determine which team you are going
to bet on or you can use it for the office
sweep stake, as an alternative to just
picking teams from a hat.
INSTRUCTIONS
CHoosing your team is a simple
two step process
Step 1 involves a coin, a dice and a pack
of normal playing cards (and of course the
forces of destiny) to determine a number
from 1 to 24.
Step 2 uses your skills as a Trail blazer to
follow a path to your chosen team.
Step 1
You will need a coin, a dice, and a pack of
normal playing cards.
To find your number, you flip a coin, then roll
the dice then pick a playing card. As you do
these things, follow the flow chart below to
see which number Lady Luck has led you to.
Example:
If you toss the coin and get a head, then
roll a 3, then pick a black card, your number
would be 6.

Step 2
Once you have got your number, all you need
to do then is follow our Trail on our ‘Chinese
Ladder’ football maze to lead you to your
team of destiny.
Your start point is your number from Step
1 which you will find on the outside of the
football in the maze below. Simply follow the
line from your number towards the centre.
At each junction with a line, follow that new
line, but always going downwards or across
– never follow a line back towards the outer
rim.
See the 2 examples on the diagram below.
Eventually you will reach the centre and the
name of one of the 24 teams competing in
Euro 2016. This is now your team.
The amazing thing about Chinese Ladders is
that every outside line will lead to a different
point in the middle. So if you are using
this for an office sweepstake, you could go
straight to Step 2 and get every person to
chooses a different number, they will then all
end up with different teams.
Be careful not to miss a junction, particularly
those close to the outer edge.
