Global shopping centre group Westfield were investing
£1.2bn in a 5-year development in London.* When asked
to replace another contractor at short notice, we hit the
ground running and delivered – on schedule, on budget,
and with zero safety incidents.
As big as 30 football pitches, the Westfield shopping centre in the White City
area of London took 5 years and an 8,000-strong workforce to complete.
Utilities were fundamental to finishing the whole project on-time. With 15km
of cabling – including a fibre network to allow remote control of the entire
power system – we delivered 11kV across 24 sub-stations. We also provided
a local gas network. And all in just 12 short months. From a standing start.
