Super Bowl LI was Sunday, February 5, with the New England Patriots taking on the Atlanta Falcons. This was the first Super Bowl to go into overtime and will go down as one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time. Tom Brady won his fifth Super Bowl and his fourth Super Bowl MVP. This title making solidified Brady’s spot as one of the greatest if not the greatest QB of all time. Tom Brady has won the most Super Bowls at the QB position along with the most Super Bowl MVP’s. Brady was 43 for 62 throwing for 466 yards and broke the records of most passes attempted and the most yards in Super Bowl history. The Patriots overcame a 25 point deficit in the second half even though at halftime the Falcons had a 99.6% chance of winning, the Patriots didn’t come out with their heads down or even a thought about losing. The Patriots’ offense was too much for the young Falcons’ defense as Tom Brady threw the ball all over the field and the Patriots defense held off the Falcons in the second half. The Patriots dominated the ball most of the game and possessed the ball nearly 41 minutes while the Falcons had the ball for only 24 minutes. The Patriots doubled the number of plays run by the Falcons with the Patriots running 93 plays and the Falcons running 46 plays. Tom Brady doesn’t plan on retiring even though he is 39 years old. Brady still believes that he and the Patriots can compete on the biggest stage of the game in the near future...again. Brady Eblin AT&T Plans to Deliver Fast Internet over Power Lines AT&T raised a few eyebrows when last fall they announced their new experimental technology to deliver speedy “Multi-gigabit” wireless internet over existing power lines. The project called “Airgig” is very simple as they just use a small-low costing antenna created by AT&T Labs. The devices create a signal that travels along the wire but not inside of it. AT&T says that Airgig can be placed anywhere where Power lines. Currently exist. AT&T’s Chief Strategy Officer and Group President, John Donovan, acknowledges that the pursuit of this development will eventually reach tspeeds from 4G to 5G. Airgig will allow AT&T to save money as the company will not have to buy land and build another tower or cables. Both cost mega bucks. Airgig is piggy backing on the power lines so both power lines and repairs are covered as well as the costs of the installation. This is a system that will bring about a change in technology and further growth down the road. Airgig will reduce some of the costs that AT&T have had to relay to their users for installation of their products in houses and businesses. Dawson Russell Prom is coming upon us very soon. For boys: For girls: Rachel Horner and Kelsey Brown Valentine’s Day is time when we think about sweets and cupcakes in particularly. The television show Cupcake Wars is a favorite for all ages. In each episode, four of the country's top bakers compete for a $10,000 prize in a cupcake baking competition. The show consists of three rounds with one contestant eliminated after each round. In round one, competitors must bake a cupcake that is judged on taste alone. Baking three cupcakes is the task in the second round. The bakery delicacies are judged on both taste and presentation. The two remaining bakers are each given a team of five people in the final round in which they have two hours to make 1,000 cupcakes. The baker whom the judges pick made the best cupcakes in all three rounds and that baker takes home the cash!
