Judgement is God’s Job
St Peter’s Lutheran
Church
Wait for the Lord and he will
make things right.
Sunday, 12 March
Proverbs 20:22
Combined Parishes
Service at Bethlehem
Lutheran Church,
Some of you are in a courtroom. The
courtroom of complaint. Some of you are
rehashing the same hurt every chance you get
with anyone who will listen.
For you I have this question: Who made you
God?
I don’t mean to be cocky , but why are you
doing
his work for him?
“Vengeance is Mine,” God declared. “I will
repay”
Judgement is God’s job. To assume otherwise
is to assume God can’t do it.
Reverence is irreverent. To forgive someone
is to display reverence. Forgiveness is not
saying the one who hurt you was right.
Forgiveness is stating that God is faithful and
he will do what is right.

Forms, Forms, Forms …. Like most adults I dislike forms as they seem tedious and appear to
take our time to fill them out. Unfortunately in all organisations, especially with multiple persons
involved including schools, it is very important that forms be filled in for a variety of reasons.
Administrators don’t especially enjoy forms as they need to be collated and filed away. Two
forms the administration are still awaiting for a 100% response are the General Consent form
and the Media Permission form. Please ensure these forms are completed and returned to the
College asap. Students who have not returned the General Consent form will not be permitted
to attend any excursions for legal reasons.

Collecting Children After School
We would appreciate it if all parents would wait outside for students after school.
Waiting outside classrooms can be distracting to both students and staff as well as
causing “crowding” around corridors and doorways.
We will have a visit from and
raise funds for
Monday, 20 March
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Social Media

Facebook, Pintrest, Tumblir, Reddit, Snapchat,
Instagram and Secret

We have a number of students in the primary school who have accounts for some
or many of these media platforms. Many of our high school students have accounts
on these and more. At present social media is being misused by some students.
We ask all parents/carers to be vigilant with their child’s use of social media.
We take a strong position about the use of social media at the College and
have zero tolerance towards the misuse of social media that brings distress
and disruption to the students, therefore, impacting on their ability to learn in
a safe and happy environment.
We also will not accept students behaving inappropriately whilst in
the College uniform on social media or in public.
If you would like a copy of our policies regarding social media please call the office
and they will be made available to you.
Please understand we take this strong position because we take the care, safety
and happiness of every child at our College very seriously.
