1. Overview
EN54-23 specifies the requirements, test methods and performance criteria for VADs (Visual Alarm Devices) in
fire detection and fire alarm systems. A New range of Fulleon products has been created and certified to meet
this new Directive. The range called, ‘LX’ is available as a stand-alone VAD, ‘Solista’ or in combination with the
Symphoni or Roshni family.
The new standard takes effect from the 31 December 2013, and products that do not meet EN54:23 will no
longer be available to purchase directly from Fulleon for Fire Use within the EU.

invested in the development of the LX product range.
