Effective molecular filtration media
A comprehensive range of molecular filtration
medias for the control of corrosive gases, toxic
gases, odors and other gaseous pollutants. The
medias may be used as part of original equipment
packages or as replacement for spent media. The
CamPure range comprises chemically impregnated
adsorbents based on activated alumina which may
be used on their own or blended with activated
carbon.

CamPure medias are designed for the most difficult
and demanding applications in industrial and
commercial environments. The principal areas of
use include the control of acidic gases in pulp and
paper, oil refining, and steel production industries.
If left untreated, acidic gases such as hydrogen
sulphide, sulphur dioxide, chlorine and oxides of
nitrogen may cause serious damage to key electrical
equipment essential to process management.
Other applications include the control of acidic and
odorous gases in waste water treatment applications
and the protection of sensitive artifacts in museums
and art
galleries.
Flexible filtration solutions and support services
CamPure medias may be deployed in a range
of Camfil Farr hardware systems These allow
standard and custom solutions for all industrial
and commercial applications using various media
amounts and bed depths. CamPure medias maybe
re-filled directly into other manufacturer’s hardware.
CamPure medias are supported by a comprehensive
range of technical support services including; media
life analysis, corrosion monitoring coupons, and on
line monitoring.

CamPure Media
CamPure 4; removes oxidizable gases responsible for corrosion, including
hydrogen sulfide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and chlorine. CamPure 4:
•
Targets gases common to petrochemical manufacturing, steel
production, pulp and paper industries.
•
Is an excellent choice to protect sensitive electronics or museum
artifacts from degradation.
•
Will permanently remove formaldehyde, ethylene and light VOCs.
•
Does not support microbial colonization.
•
Target gases include hydrogen sulfide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen
oxides, formaldehyde, ethylene, light VOCs, low molecular weight
aldehydes and organic acids
•
Does not support combustion and is recommended for fire-sensitive
applications.
•
May be applied in existing HVAC systems or in applicable canisters
or panels in Camfil Farr filter frames or side-access housings.
•
Is available in 50 lb. sacks. Plastic pails or bulk sacks are available
by special order.
CamPure 6XL; removes target acidic gases responsible for corrosion,
including hydrogen sulfide, and mercaptans. CamPure 6XL:
•
Targets gases common to petrochemical manufacturing, steel
production, pulp and paper industries.
•
Is an excellent choice to protect sensitive electronics or museum
artifacts from degradation.
•
Will permanently remove formaldehyde, ethylene and light VOCs.
•
Enhanced removal of Hydrogen sulfide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen
oxides, formaldehyde, ethylene and acid gases.
•
Does not support microbial colonization.
•
Does not support combustion and is recommended for fire-sensitive
applications.
•
May be applied in existing HVAC systems or in applicable canisters
or panels in Camfil Farr filter frames or side-access housings.

Any of the Campure medias may be blended with
other adsorbents or activated carbon to provide an
adsorption system that covers a broad spectrum of
