To improve the life of people of Santa Cruz County, the State of Arizona, other U.S. cities, and internationally
through produce re-distribution.

Borderlands Food Bank is a non-profit organization with a 501 (c) 3 status – EIN 86-0804743.
Located in Nogales, AZ where billions of pounds of produce come through the Mexico gates via U.S.
and Canada.
Rescuing nutritious produce for over 20 years – Annually, between 30-40 million lbs. – 39 different
varieties.
Distributing the produce with the help of more than 300 non-profit registered agencies which include 18
other U.S. States.
Santa Cruz County Direct Client Re-Distribution Program has approximately 4,992 registered
households, 24% are children.
Mexico Direct Client Re-Distribution Program has approximately 3,847 registered households, 36% of
that number are children.
What is Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste?
Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste (P.O.W.W.O.W.) disperses fresh produce to communities at churches,
schools and other entities throughout Northern and Southern Arizona including metro Tucson and Phoenix
areas.
Anyone can contribute $10 to shop up to 60 lbs. of fresh nutritional rescued produce, to share with neighbors,
friends, family, or the less vulnerable.
