wife, Esther Leckie. Description a native of New Zealand a butcher, Thirty four
years of age, 5 feet 8 inches, medium build, florid complexion, full brown eyes,
very dark-brown curly hair, brown moustache only, large teeth, short neck, fond of
drink, and quarrelsome when drinking, dressed in dark blue vicuna suit and grey
Dr Jim hat. He deserted his wife about five months ago, and is said to have gone
to Melbourne where he is supposed to have a brother, James LECKIE, a
bookmaker. Above is son of Eliza Rose Alexander and John Leckie who settled in
