Writing Dialogue
When writing dialogue, begin a new paragraph every time the speaker changes.
Example:
“Mark, did you go to the basketball game yesterday?” asked Eddie.
“Yes, I did,” answered Mark, “I arrived a little late, but I was able to catch a good seat. I
brought my sister and brother with me.”
“Did you see Max make the layup? It was great!”
“You bet,” said Mark. “It was one in a million!”
