As a student, we know you have a lot
on your plate.
That’s why we’ve designed our application form to be quick and simple to
complete. Remember, your application is your first interaction with Deloitte,
and there are only a few questions, so this is your opportunity to create the
best impression. Take a step back now to consider your real motivations for
the role and it will help you throughout the rest of your Deloitte recruitment
process.
Check that you meet the particular requirements of your programme and
service line here.
What will you be asked?
We’ll ask for some personal details, including your education and work experience, plus two
career motivation questions. We review all of this information as a whole to see if you meet
the requirements. It’s important for us to understand why you want to work for Deloitte, and
why you’ve chosen the service line and role you’re applying for. We also want to see that
you’ve done your research and understand what the job might involve.
The two Deloitte Graduate application questions:

D

line you have applied to.
Question 2:
S howing an understanding of the day to
day role please tell us what you expect to
be doing in your first year in your chosen
service line.
Things to consider before you start
When approaching an application form, there are some key questions you can ask yourself to
help you structure your response. Try the following exercise to prepare.
You may also want to look at these resources before you begin:
The Deloitte impact report.
Our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Our Website which gives some great insight into the work we do.
Case studies of our people on our You Tube channel.
Exercise
Take at least 10 minutes to answer the following questions before writing your
application form.
How did your interest in business start? What activities have you taken part
in to develop your interest in business?
Does the role offer any opportunities to grow and develop?
What professional qualifications are on offer? Check your understanding of
them and consider why you would like to pursue one.
What other methods might you use to learn and grow?
What part of the role do you think you will enjoy?
What kind of working environment would be ideal for you?
Finally, before submitting your application
Review it thoroughly. Double‑check your academic details, make sure your answers are concise
and that there are no spelling or grammatical errors. It’s always worth asking a friend to read
over it too.
Make sure your answers are individual to you; it’s easy to spot those cut and pasted from other
application forms.
We look forward to receiving your application.
Good Luck!
