When you confirm your Wedding Reception with £1000.00 deposit, both the bride & groom will then
be entitled to complimentary 6 months membership of the Country Club.
It is valid for one year for you both from the date of your payment confirmation.
It cannot be transferred to another guest and it is non-transferable to any other Hotel product.
Wedding Accommodation Rates 2016
Weddings are allocated bedrooms subject to availability. Bedrooms can only be reserved with a
deposit of £50.00 at time of booking. All bookings include breakfast; we do not offer room only rates.
Bedrooms are sold on a first come, first serve basis. The Burrendale Hotel does not reserve any
bedrooms without a deposit. All deposits are non-transferrable & non-refundable. All rooms are
subject to availability.

Burrendale Wedding Contract ~ Terms & Conditions
 To confirm your date for a wedding a deposit of £1000.00 is required to guarantee your booking within 2 weeks of
your initial booking. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. We
require an approx. number of guests when initial booking is made.
 Your Wedding Meal MUST be served before 5.30pm – please inform photographer and consider if you want
speeches before or after the meal to ensure your timings do not exceed 5.30pm.
 Final Numbers are required 72 hours before the function and these will be the numbers charged for your
account.
 Details of chosen menu should be given at least 12 weeks prior to the function. Any allergies or special dietary
requirements must also be stipulated at Final Details Stage.
 The hotel is extremely confident in its product, and for this reason we do not offer Wedding Menu Tasting.
 Your Wedding TABLE PLAN must be with the Wedding Coordinator no later than ten days prior to the date of
your wedding.
 Evening entertainment finishes at 1:00am. Function Bars close at 1:00am.
 The client undertakes not to bring any food onto the premises. Burrendale Hotel is not responsible for the
assembly of any Wedding Cakes. All cake boxes must be collected the morning after the Wedding, we cannot be
held responsible for any Cakes or boxes being misled after this time. (HACCP Applies).
 The Burrendale hotel is happy to serve products i.e. Wedding Cake/Cupcakes provided by you at your coming
Wedding. The Burrendale Hotel, Country Club & Spa adheres to the European Union Food Information for Consumers
Regulation (EU FIC) (No1169/2011), which requires that all food that are sold or provided in this premises has information on
allergenic ingredients. We require the relevant form to be completed by the person(s) providing the product and will not be in
a position to serve the item(s) if this is not completed fully including all ingredients involved in the making of the product.
FOOD ALLERGY INFORMATION –If you do not make us aware of any allergen included in this product, we will not
accept responsibility for any adverse reaction to food or drink consumed. While we have ensured compliance with
Food Information Regulations, we will not be liable for the failure of third parties to comply with the rules.
 No beverage of any kind will be permitted onto the premises by the patron or any of the patron’s guest or invitees
from the outside without the special permission of the management. Management reserves the right to make a
charge for the service of such beverages.
 Please note that no confetti or party poppers are allowed on to the premises or the grounds of the hotel.
 No advertisement or notice, decoration flag or emblem or device referring to the function may be attached or
displayed in or above interior/exterior of the building unless by prior arrangement with management.
 The client undertakes to conduct their function in an orderly manner in full compliance with the rules and
directions of the hotel management and all applicable legislation.
Accommodation
 If you require us to hold a bedroom allocation for your guests an agreed deposit must be paid at the same time as
you confirm your wedding with us. All deposits are non-refundable & non-transferrable.
 Bride and Groom give the guest name for any bedrooms booked and guarantee rooms with a relevant deposit.
Should any guests no-show on the day the full room rate will be charged to the final wedding bill.
 Bride and Groom can advise their guests to book their own accommodations who in turn call the hotel, quoting
the wedding date and guarantee rooms with their own credit card or deposit.
 Bedrooms are sold to wedding guests on a first come first serve basis from the date of the wedding confirmation.
 Alternatively if the rooms are not guaranteed the Hotel is free to sell rooms to other guests on a first come first
served basis.
 Please note that check-in time for residents is from 3:00pm Breakfast is served from 8:00am – 10:00am. Checkout time is strictly 11:30am. However, an earlier breakfast and check-out can be requested at the time of booking
or upon arrival at reception.
 All adult Resident Wedding Guests will be given a Room Key Card on check-in at the Hotel Reception; this will
enable access to the residents bar.
Storage & Personal Property/Consigning
 The hotel will try wherever possible to assist guests with the storage of equipment, personal property; wedding
cakes etc. but accept no liability for any damage or loss. The hotel will not accept responsibility for any goods
consigned to the hotel or any staff in connection with any event nor will it be responsible for any freight, carriage
or delivery charges.
Price Variations
 In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. increases in the standard rate of VAT and market prices on
food and beverages) we reserve the right to vary the prices quoted to an extent which reflects such circumstances.
Payment
All accounts must be settled prior to wedding date by either cash or credit card.
Damage
 The client undertakes to conduct their function in an orderly fashion and in full compliance with the rules and
directions of the management and responsibility for damage caused by them or their guests.
Cancellation Policy
 The hotel will not be held liable for any failure or delay to provide facilities, services, food or beverages as a result
of events or matters outside its control. Should the event be cancelled by the Hotel, cancellation will be given in
writing to the client no less than 6 months prior to the event. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel an event in the
following cases –
o The Proprietor believes the booking might prejudice the reputation of the Hotel.
o The Hotel facilities may change or alter at the Proprietors discretion including new development, future
planning, construction or maintenance/repairs in unforeseen circumstances.
o The Bride and Groom must advise on all cancellations and must be forwarded in writing to the Hotel.
 Should you have to cancel your confirmed wedding for any unfortunate circumstance please be advised that you
will automatically forfeit your deposit and all monies paid in advance.
