This week we will celebrate Read Across America
Week. Each day will have a theme based on a Dr. Seuss
book. Today’s theme is based on the book Oh, the
Places You’ll Go! Did you remember to wear something
from a place you have been or a place you’d like to
visit.
Tomorrow’s book will be Oh, The Thinks you can
Think! On Tuesday wear college gear because reading
makes you smarter.
Intramurals begin again today! Intramural basketball
will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday in the main gym. Meet after 2nd call and have
a ride pick you up promptly at 4:00 in the back of the
building.
Reading Olympics will be held tomorrow after school in
room 253. Have a ride in the back of the building at
4:00. Remember to bring your book and folder.
Newspaper will meet on Wednesday in lab 258. Come
ready to work on articles for the next issue. See Mrs.
Snelling with any questions.
Pick a date - Friday, March 4th or Saturday,
March 5th. Plan to come to the high school and see the
high school musical at 7:00 PM. Tickets cost $10 for
students and $12 for adults. Two 7th graders, Caleb
Dean and Kaitlyn Myers, are in the show and our 7th
grade music teacher, Mr. Cifelli, is the director!
So, bring your family for a fun night of theater this
Friday and Saturday night at the high school. You can
get your tickets at the door. See Mr. Cifelli for more
information.
We have two members of the NOVA group here with an
