The LIRS Logo Usage Guide

logo files. Downloading indicates agreement to abide by these guidelines.
Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service lights the way to welcome. This welcoming light is reflected in our logo, a torch reminiscent of
the Statue of Liberty. Through this logo and its proper use, LIRS affirms our commitment to living out a spirit of welcome through excellence
and professionalism in our work. We appreciate your partnership in this mission, and ask for your cooperation in using our logo in
accordance with the following guidelines.
The Logo Mark
The LIRS logo mark consists of a stylized image of a torch plus the
organization’s full name. Two versions are allowed as depicted at right.
Logo Colors
The examples provided to the right are in full color. Limited-color versions
of the logo are also available.
Logo Font
The font used in the logo is Houschka Alt-Bold.
GO! (Correct Uses)
 Use a full-color version on a white or light-colored background: RGB for online use or CMYK for full-color printing.
 Use the WHITE version on a solid dark background or on a fabric image that provides sufficient contrast.
 Use the limited color versions—PMS 3025 or BLACK or PMS 3025+BLACK—when printing in only those colors.

NO! (Incorrect Uses)
Do not change the scale or placement of the logo elements in relation to each other.
Do not squish or stretch the logo out of proportion.
Do not add special effects or decorations to the logo.
Do not rotate or skew the logo
Do not add or replace text or abbreviate the organization’s name

Do not place on a background that is too busy or has insufficient contrast.

Do not print hurizontal version smaller than .25” high or vertical version smaller than .75” high
