Bracknell Film Society

Objectives
Bracknell Film Society’s objectives are:



to show a wide range of high-quality
films not readily available in the local
area - art-house, foreign language,
independent, documentary, short films
to encourage interest in all forms of film
as a medium for education
to promote the study and appreciation of
films by screenings, discussions,
lectures from visiting speakers and visits
to relevant institutions and places of
interest.
Our Film Programme
Every film that we show has been seen and
recommended by at least one of our
members and any member can suggest a
film for our programme. Over the last year
the programme has included contemporary
World cinema, an early Hitchcock silent film
with live piano accompaniment, British
documentaries, a Roman Polanski season
and a Quarterly Classic strand. We also like
to include short films in our programme
where possible.
Bracknell Film Society Evenings

SHP cinema on the second Tuesday of each
month. BFS Evenings are open to the public
and tickets can be bought at the South Hill
