Dress code & code of conduct strongly enforced Please represent APNational accordingly.

Lift clean & place: You MUST mark your ball BEFORE lifting it. You cannot reposition your ball
with your golf club or foot. If this is done it is a 2 stroke penalty. You can only lift and clean your
ball once before replacing it.

Putt everything out NO “gimmies”

In the case of possible lost ball: “Out of bounds” from the tee or fairway please declare to your
MARKER you are hitting a PROVISIONAL ball and IDENTIFY what your FIRST ball was example:
“Nike 1 with a blue dot” was my first ball, my provisional is a “Nike 2 with a blue dot” please
declare this before you strike your shot. If you have hit a tee shot and walk onto the course and
after 5 minutes it cannot be found, you must return to the tee and re hit.

Marker: Is the player you exchange cards with and is responsible for your score only. The
MARKER is responsible for rules questions, lost balls etc. Each player/MARKER is responsible for
1 player each. Before taking a DROP or determining an UNPLAYABLE LIE please consult with
YOUR Marker before doing so and if the Marker does not know please ask another member in
your playing group.

Scores: Please provide YOUR Marker with your HOLED out score after completing the hole. We
all have bad holes please do not make YOUR Marker feel uncomfortable about asking for your
score.

Score cards: At the end of the round please take a moment to review your card with your
marker before peeling out of the parking lot. It is YOUR responsibility to assure all scores are
correct and that there are 2 signatures on the card. ANY cards WITHOUT 2 signatures is an
automatic DISQUALIFICATION. All tournament scores WILL be posted by the tournament
committee.

NO EXTRA chipping, putting etc. on holes after you’ve completed playing them. This behavior
is not tolerated.

Pace of play: 4 hours and 30 minutes PLEASE do your part to keep pace with the group in front
of you at all times. Do YOUR part to help keep YOUR group moving and in proper position.

Sportsmanship: Please encourage one another with in the spirit of the game, do not let poor
play disrupt the entire group.

