Student News Today is the last day to purchase Prom tickets. All tickets must be purchased in advance—no sales at the door. Please note that students will be asked to sign a Prom agreement as a condition of purchasing tickets. Congratulations to the NPA Golf team who travels to the State Tournament this afternoon for their tournament on Thursday and Friday in Tucson. The team won their section and is currently ranked 7th in the state. Vince Cortese leads the team ranked 10th in the state. JAZZ CHOIR AUDITIONS will be held Thursday, May 11th. Please see Mrs. Wilkins for details. All girls entering high school next year who would like to play basketball, please plan on meeting after school on Thursday, May 11th in the gym to meet the new coach and get ready for next season. Your parents are encouraged to attend as well. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes. Again, this meeting is for all girls grades 8 through 11 interested in playing high school basketball next season. Tell your parents! Attention all students who will be in the 7th or 8th grade next year. Please come to vote for your Middle School Student Council Officers at lunch on Monday, May 15th, in Ms. McKean’s room. These students will be making important decisions on your behalf next year, so come on out and VOTE! There will be an informational meeting for all those interested in joining the swim and dive team next year. The meeting will be held in Ms. White’s classroom (room 107) during lunch on Friday. The following people still own lines to Mrs. Tucker: Alexis Flury, Devon Gussio, Tristan Janisse, Sierra Riker, Ari Schwartz, Joshua Wason. The following people need to see Mrs. Tucker about revising their lines: Charles Maquardt, Julianna Burglund-Brown. All seniors need to have a copy of their senior video to Mrs. Tucker by 5/12 either on a USB drive she can keep until May 19th or on YouTube. Students if you need to push back a final due to having three scheduled on the same day, see Mrs. Schorey to get a Request for Exam Schedule Change Form. Students will not be able to take finals early. These forms will need to be signed by teachers and returned to Mrs. Schorey by end of day, May 24th. If you are in the talent show please make sure to complete the information form which is located on the band room door. These are due ASAP. Information about the rehearsal will be posted on Friday this week. Talent Show; there will be live judging again this year. See Mrs. London-Hall if you are interested in being a talent show judge on May 19. We will need two judges per grade level. Students must own their own smart phone to be a judge. Small prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the show. SENIORS: A reminder that your college information/exit forms are due to the Counseling Department by MAY 15th. If you did not receive this form, please see Mr. Fredette or Mrs. Compain. Warning: There is a plot twist in the “Change War” Starting today please put coins in the container of any grade level other than your own and that amount will reduce the total for that grade. For instance, if you are a 7th grader and the 8th grade is ahead of you, putting 50 cents in the 8th grade container will subtract from their total amount. SO DO NOT PUT YOUR CHANGE IN YOUR OWN CLASS CONTAINER!
