SIXTH FORM ENROLMENT 2015
Congratulations, once again, to all our students on their GCSE results! We look forward to welcoming back those who are returning, and wish
every success and happiness to those who will be continuing their studies elsewhere or beginning employment. It has been a privilege to
share the last five years with you.
Successful applicants to the Emmanuel Sixth Form are listed below in alphabetical order alongside the courses into which they have been
enrolled.
In the light of significant oversubscription, it has sadly not been possible for us to accommodate all who have expressed an interest in
continuing their studies with us. Priority has been given to those who have met the criteria for the courses they wish to study and who have
demonstrated most clearly that they have the motivation to succeed, as described in our published admissions policy (available on
request). We will create a waiting list, and anyone wishing to be added to it should contact Mrs Longton, the Principal’s P.A. Any request to
change course should also be directed to Mrs Longton in the first place.
Wednesday 2nd September is the first day for Year 12. Please arrive at 8:20 in casual attire (clothes suitable to undertake outdoor
activities) ready to depart for our residential visit immediately after assembly.
* Please ensure you have an Information Pack for the Year 12 Induction Residential to Rock UK, Whithaugh Activity. This includes consent
forms and kit requirements, and a copy of the Learning Agreement to sign. Completed forms with payment should be returned to College
Reception by Friday 28th August.
* Arrange to purchase the sixth form uniform; the Uniform Shop will be open this week.
* Collect your A Level textbooks and homework tasks for the first lesson in each subject from the College library. These must be collected by
Friday 28th August.
