On December 12, 2013
Lostant 8th graders were recognized at the boys’ last
home basketball game. The
8th graders on the basketball
team include Logan Kreiser,
Auston Pflibsen, Jacob Cabal,
Jacob Ritko, and Deven Peek.
The 8th grade cheerleaders
were Lindsey Maggio, Kindra
Shawback, and Austin Larson.
It was an exciting night with
the Lostant Comets winning
with forty points over Princeton Christian Academy’s thirty-five points. Their victory
last Thursday night improved
the A team’s conference record to 10-1.

Summer, because I like it hot!
How long have you been
teaching at Lostant Grade
School? I started in 1991.
This is my 23rd year!
What is your favorite subject
to teach? All of them!
Do you have any children? I
have 3 children. Rachel age 15,
in high school, Dean 13 and in
8th grade, and Shelby age 9
and in 3rd grade.
Do you have any pets? I have a
cat, named Pepper, a dog
named Bunny and a hamster I
keep at school named Coco.
My kids also have a horse
named Dixie that they board at
Black Socks Stable
Do you like working at Lostant?
Why? Yes, because I like the
kids and their families.
Do you have any hobbies? I like
to read, travel. But mostly I find
myself playing taxi service to
the kids and cleaning up after
them.
