hbvember mreting of Loraer Flalstqar Parish f,ouncil be sigredn subject to the
addition at paragraph 6b), line 5 of ron t'he raest side of Breach Larer

tillage Sign Mrs Pitcher had ret with Mr Gransden who had describd
the nethod of translating the &sign into a nx:uld and then painting in the
details. A sign 3' x 2' nmrld cost approx fSmO- fSOO, excluding the csst
sF the painting, l"lrs Pitcher advised that Mrs Ardley would like to paint
the rnould herself. The Chairnran upuld enquire about obtaining a grant frorn
the Heritage Fund, It wae agreed that the tracing and design work nnuld go
ahead but nothing co-rld be progressed on the ncq.rlding until the grant carne
through,
b) Footpaths lnlr Stevens had spoken the Footpaths tlFficer abca:t the
overgrcldn path and he had agreed to clear the brambles and mark the path.

elaypit The Applicants had appealed against the Ca.rnty Cauncil's
re*-rsa1 and the timing sf the appeal was awaited. The Chairrnan advised the
applicati"on to extend Brarnbledo,.ln on Sheppey was currently un#r
consj.&ration by KCC and if approved this rarr..r1d increase the amotrnt of Clay
available in the area. The Boro;gh Plan nntrld also soon h on &posito
reconmending the site as a Local Landscape Area
d) Tree Preservation Or&if at Tiptr:ee The eite meeting had laken place
and the landaurer had requested a managsnenl plan for the treeso sc: that
they co.rld carry on farming with the least interruption.
e) Flae.dlight Mrs Pitcher !/\,as stiil trying to contact Mr Ballard abot-tt
altering the angle of the floodlight in his garden.

December. The Chairman proFosed that in vienr of the families close
connections and interest in the village resident'a fees ras-rld be
chargeable; this proposal was seconded by t"lr Stevens and agreed by the
ather rnernbers oF the Counci 1 .

The Clerk had advised the chairrnan that she had inadvertently charged
the old rate of b-irial fees fur the b,rrial of Mr &;rr. It was proposed by
Mr Daviso seconded by Mr Stevens that lhe additional fees should nol be
requested.
d) The Clerk had collected the allotrnent rent in The l'4ennrial HaIl on 11
Novernber; 2 a1 lotnrents had been surrendered.

deposit account and f6O81.26 in the NISB. The Chairrnan advised thal the
precept r-equest weuld be received before the next neeting of the Farish
Ccl-tncil and it was agreed thal The Chairman would meet with Mr Sruift and Flr
Deare to fornr-rlate proposals for the 19?6,/97 precept.

gritting in the village if the weather turred i.cy.

light of go rnany earlier applications. There was also ssr€ concsrn abcx-rt
the practices of the builders inverlved, It was agreed thal the Clerk should
cantact the Borough Conservation Office to draw his attention to the
application and to express their concerns ah:t what wae happening there.
