SmartTags
The KSI SmartTag Security Asset Manager (SAM) is one
of the most flexible and highest density storage solutions
for automatically auditing and controlling access to your valuable
keys and small assets. Attach your keys to our red Tamper-Evident
SmartTags or optional SmartKey Covers, each of which has a unique
electronic ID that can be read by our SAM, enabling you to return
assets to any open position within your SmartTag SAM System.
This superior flexibility enables you to quickly organize your assets
by assigning one or more asset positions to a given user or group
of users without the need for programming. Each panel has a dry
erase finish for easy labeling of positions.
Assets and keys are secured in our 16-gauge SmartTag SAM box.
Access to the box is gained through entry of a PIN or use of optional
card or biometric readers. Once user identification is accepted, the
SAM door opens. All asset removals and returns are automatically
logged to the authorized user.

Global Facilities Management System
The KSI SmartTag Security Asset Manager (SAM) is powered
by our Global Facilities Management Software (GFMS) which
can also network with other KSI SAMs, KSI Satellite
controllers, or your own asset management
system. Each SmartTag is tracked by a
unique electronic serial number. GFMS
software provides many functions, including
live monitoring of SAM status and user
activity, reports, alarm alerts, and much more.
This SAM is compatible with many
identification devices, including biometric
hand, fingerprint, and optical scanners,
as well as magnetic stripe, proximity and
assorted card/tag readers.
KSI SmartTag Panels
For a large scale solution, we can
install KSI SmartTag Panels in one
or more of your rooms. Your room
takes the place of our SAM box, while
our KSI Satellite controls and tracks
access to the room. Assets plugged
into SmartTag Panels are monitored
and tracked for authorized usage and
accountability.
Global Facilities Management System
GFMS™ combines sophisticated and
adaptable, web enabled, PC-based
software with no client installs. System
integration and custom application are
cornerstones of our philosophy towards
system management.
