How to Confirm your Answer File Uploaded Successfully
Option 1: SofTest Upload Confirmation Message
Once you save and exit your exam, SofTest will search for an Internet connection. If an Internet
connection is available, SofTest will automatically upload your answer file (Figure 1).

If your answer file is uploaded successfully, you will receive a confirmation message screen
(Figure 2).

Selecting ‘Upload History’ opens your Internet web browser and displays your Assessment History
page. (Figures 3 and 4)

The Assessment History page is a detailed report of your account activity; it includes the date
and time every exam is downloaded and uploaded. You may print a copy of this page if you need
a confirmation of the upload.
Option 2: Accessing the Assessment History Page Using SofTest
You can also access the Assessment History page through SofTest. To do so, doubleclick the
SofTest icon on your desktop, click the ‘History’ button (Figure 4 - A) and enter your login
information (Figure 5, A - B); once you click ‘Next’, the Assessment History page will be
displayed. (Figure 6)

Alternative 3: Accessing the Assessment History Page from the ExamSoft Home Page
You can also access the Assessment History page from any computer by visiting your Institution’s
ExamSoft Home Page and logging in under the Exam Taker section. Once logged in, click on
‘History’ located at the top of your screen (Figure 7), this will display your assessment history.

Option 4: Email Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email for each answer file you upload (Figure 9). Some email
providers delay or block emails they believe are spam. If you fail to receive your email
confirmation, it could be due to your email server. Before you contact ExamSoft Support, please
visit your Assessment History page to confirm your answer files have been uploaded.

You can also request an additional email to confirm your upload on the Assessment History page
(Figure 10). Click the small mail icon to send the emails!

Exam Assessment History
If you do not see a date under the ‘Upload Date’ on the Assessment History page next to the
corresponding exam then your answer file has not upload (Figure 11). Please attempted to
upload you answer file and check the Assessment History page again. If you have any trouble
uploading your answer file please contact our support at 866-429-8889.
