Race History
The Toad Suck 10K was started by
the Conway Kiwanis Club in 1982,
and planned in conjunction with
the then new Toad Suck Daze
festival.
In 1986, the 10K was combined
with an 8K to honor the memory
of Randy Baker and is co- hosted
by the Conway Running Club. The
10K and 5K Run/Walk is followed
by the Tadpole Trot for children
ages 4-12.
The Toad Suck Daze Run is
certified as an RRCA Grand Prix
10K Qualifier, making it attractive
to participants of all racing levels.
Your sponsorship of the annual Toad
Suck Daze Run benefits the Faulkner
County community by providing
support to Central Arkansas nonprofits.
With an average of 1,500 registered
participants in the 10K and 5K runs,
and 300 registered Tadpole Trot
youth, the Toad Suck Daze Runs
provide a wonderful opportunity to
display your support. A sanctioned
sports event of the Toad Suck Daze
festival, participants are welcomed to
Conway with plenty of fun, food and
live entertainment to enjoy with
family and friends.
