The works to the school consisted of the
construction of 3 separate classroom ‘pods’
Each pod is designed to incorporate 2
classrooms, a shared resources area, storage,
WC facilities and a cloakroom.
The pods use the latest in sustainable
technologies and techniques.
Including a mixed mode ventilation
system, high level installation and a north
facing construction designed to minimise
the consumption of energy used for
heating and lighting.
The construction was phased over two
stages to allow early occupancy whilst the
demolition works were still ongoing.
GNA ensured costs were controlled and
that Health and Safety was managed to
help deliver another successful project.
