We will finish Lesson 10 and do
some catching up and reviewing.
This past Thursday, Miss Osbourne,
came to our room to begin the PETS
program. It stands for:
PrimaryEducationThinkingSkills
Miss Osbourne is one of our GATE
teachers. This program allows the
students to do higher level of
thinking through logic puzzles.
She will visit our room every third
Thursday. The students did a
GREAT job for the first time!

We will continue working on Unit 4. Temperature,
estimating costs, shopping, and making change, and
learning strategies for solving two digit addition
problems are the skills we will be working on.
Please remember to review the HomeLink to see
how the problems should be solved. There are
certain strategies your child will need to be able to
do.

We have finished another five lessons, so reviewing
and assessing will be on our list of
things to do this coming week!
We will also continue practicing more contractions.
