Notice of proposed changes pertaining to Wholesale Broadband Agreement
nbn is varying your Wholesale Broadband Agreement (WBA) in order to align the changes set out in this notice
with the launch of NEBS over FTTN.
If your Head Terms are version 2.1 then nbn is amending: NEBS Product Description; NEBS Product Technical
Specification – FTTB; Service Levels Schedule; NBN Co Operations Manual; Service Description – NBN Co
Platform Interfacing Service; Dictionary; Sandpit Service Description and Price List as described in the table
below.
If your Head Terms are version 2.0, then nbn is amending: NBN Co Operations Manual; Service Description –
NBN Co Platform Interfacing Service; and Dictionary as described in the table below.
These amendments are occurring to align with the FTTB/N Supply Terms.
This will ensure that all customers are using the same version of the aforementioned documents, irrespective of
the version of the Head Terms you have executed or the range of Products you acquire (excepting the Interim
Satellite Service, which maintains a separate set of contractual documentation).
The changes include content that relates specifically to the introduction of the NEBS supplied by means of the
NBN Co FTTN Network (NEBS over FTTN). Your organisation should disregard references to the “NBN Co FTTN
Network”, and your organisation will not be able to order NEBS over FTTN, until such time as your organisation
has executed a variation agreement that will permit the ordering of NEBS over FTTN.
In order to align the changes set out in this notice with the launch of NEBS over FTTN, the changes will become
effective on 18 September 2015, or, if your registered office or principal place of business is located in
Queensland, 21 September 2015 (or, in each case, such later date as notified by nbn in writing) (the FTTN
Commercial Launch Date). If nbn determines that further changes are required, then nbn may withdraw this
notice by giving you written notice, and any further changes will be made in accordance with clause F4 of the
Head Terms of the WBA.
Capitalised terms used in this notice have the meaning given to them in your WBA unless otherwise defined.
