JEANS – BEST TROUSERS EVER
2.1.
Jeans have become the most popular trousers in the world. There are many reasons for their
popularity. Some people say jeans look nice. Others wear them because they are fashionable.
The simplest explanation, however, is that they are cheap and comfortable.
2.2.
Jeans were first made for American farmers. In the beginning rich people did not wear them
but that has changed. Nowadays almost everybody has at least one pair in their wardrobe.
Jeans are worn by teenagers, elderly people, factory workers and celebrities. Even presidents
and managers wear them from time to time.
2.3.
When designers plan a type of jeans, they first think about the pattern and the number and
sizes of pockets. Then workers put all the pieces of cloth together. The sewing is the most
important process. Many different kinds of sewing machines are used.
