Welcome to Gold Star Dairy Farms, LLC
Manuel Valenzuela, Simon Regan, Deb Reinhart and David Geiser own and operate Gold Star Dairy Farms LLC. The
dairy, located at N3287 South Mill Road in New Holstein, is home to 300 Registered Holstein milking cows.
Manuel is the herd and feed manager and Simon works in the feeding, crop, and nutrient management areas of the
farm. David and Deb have operated the 183 acre dairy since 1975, when they purchased the farm from David’s parents.
Manuel and Simon joined the management team in 2014.
The dairy has seen steady growth over the last 15 years, including the transition to grazing dry cows and young stock.
The addition of free stall barns and drive through TMR feeding have helped to increase labor efficiencies, and a special
needs barn and milking parlor have also enhanced the dairy operation.
As a community dairy, Gold Star Dairy Farms LLC purchases a majority of its feed from their neighbors for the TMR
system. The dairy utilizes a 590 plan for nutrient management and manages about 750 acres in the township.
The Gold Star team is very proud of the milk quality and conservation awards they have received over the years.
