Maximise your Facebook Privacy Settings in 8 Easy Steps
1. Go to your profile page and in the
top right hand corner click
‘account’ and then ‘privacy
settings’
2. For all of the options tick the option ‘Friends Only’
3. Un tick the box ‘Share a tagged post with friends of the
friend I tag’
3. Click ‘Customize Settings’
5. Ensure that the ‘Friends only option is displaying
for everything.
6. Ensure that the ‘Include me in "People Here
Now" after I check in’ box is NOT ticked/
7. Click ‘Edit album privacy for existing photos.’
8. Ensure that the ‘Friends Only’ option
is displayed on all photos.
If you have followed step 1-8 correctly, you page should look
like this to anyone who is not a friend of yours.
If you following Steps 1-8 you will have the following privacy levels.
 Only friends will be able to view your wall posts and be able to post on
your wall.
 Only friends will able to view your photos (except for your main pforile
picture).
 There is an option to only allow friends of friends be able to private
message you but I have allowed anyone to be able to send me a
private message, as this is only visable to me and it could be a long lost
friend trying to get in touch.
