Surroundings
START YOUR DAY
Start with an early breakfast and depart with a
chauffeured luxury van service to Porto Heli
ON YOUR WAY
On your way to Porto Heli, visit Acro-Corinth, an
imposing ancient castle and see first hand why to
antiquity through more recent times it’s location
served as the last line of defense for southern Greece.
Continue your journey with a guided tour through
one of the local wineries in Nemea where you explore
the different fragrances and tastes of Greek wine. Your
last stop will include a visit to ancient theater of
Epidaurus were its exceptional acoustics make it a
favorite venue for dramatic theater performances
even today.

Arrive at your hotel near Porto Heli and relax in your
suite. Take a dip in your private pool with a selection of
freshly cut fruits and local cheeses. Later, have a
private lunch with local delicacies and freshly caught
fish in the hotel’s award winning restaurant.
The area offers many activities for all tastes and
energy levels. Discover amazing beaches, partake in
watersports, go fishing, or mountain bike. For
gastronomy lovers: Visit the open air fish market in
Spetses and then visit a local farm to taste goat
cheese and yoghurt made on site!
Have a late lunch or dinner in a hidden tavern at a
local sea side village, where menus don’t exist! The
owner of the tavern (who is also the local fisherman)
serves his catch of the day and dishes according to
the fresh produce procured.
Day 5- Cruise: Saronic Gulf
THE SARONIC
GULF
Start your Greek cruise experience with a visit to the
islands of Spetses and Hydra; on your way discover
secret coves with crystal waters, ideal for a swimming
and snorkeling.
HYDRA
Hydra consists of a tiny harbor ringed with cafes,
restaurants and jewelry shops, surrounded by a village
of stone houses and villas amphitheatrically built into
the hills. One of the best things about Hydra is that
there are no cars. All transfers and transportation
including groceries, building supplies, people and
their luggage, are done by donkeys.
Visit “Hydroneta”, which is the best place to enjoy a
late evening cocktail, watching the sunset by the
sounds of jazz and classical music.
SPETSES
Another island where cars are prohibited is the island
of Spetses. The beautiful neoclassical buildings that
surround the port offer a glimpse into the historical
past of the island. The island’s terrain is famous for its
pine trees, olive trees, grapes, figs and almonds.

Spend the night on your yacht moored off Spetses.
Have a gourmet dinner at one of the best hotels and

Day 6- Cruise: Lakonia
START HEADING

GERAKAS PORT
Gerakas port is a biotope located 19km north of the
city of Monemvasia. It hosts an aquatic habitat where
many different bird species can be found while in the
quaint port of the village one can find taverns serving
fresh fish and local delicacies.
MONEMVASIA
CASTLE
The castle-city of Monemvasia is a unique byzantine
fortress built upon a 300 - meter high offshore rock. It is
a place of both historical importance and great
beauty, tucked into the rocky slopes and surrounded
by massive stone walls.
ELAFONISSOS
Visit the exotic island of Elafonisos located in Southern
Peloponnese. The setting will remind you of a tropical
island with golden sandy beaches and green- blue
crystal clear waters. Definitely a ‘must stop’ for a swim.
LIGHTHOUSE
Cape Tainaron lighthouse is one of the largest
beacons in Greece, built at the tip of the Mani
peninsula in 1882 by the French, it marks the
southernmost point of mainland Greece.
GEROLIMENAS
Spend the night at Gerolimenas, a picturesque
natural harbor surrounded by a cluster of taverns and
local shops. Enjoy a Michelin star dinner in a

Messinia

Head West to explore the Messinian Gulf.

oldest tavern in the area. Visit the breathtaking Caves
of Diros believed in ancient times to be the entrance
to the underworld. Enjoy your guided row boat tour
and photograph the breathtaking stalagmites and
stalactites.
AREOPOLIS TOWN
The main square of Areopolis is the place where the
move for Greek independence commenced in 1821.
The town was named Areopolis after ‘’Ares’’ the
mythical God of War. There are many beautiful
churches to visit, others in the village and a few
formed in caves in the surrounding hills.

On your way to Kalamata, stop at the magnificent

Head further West to explore the area of Messinia, an

Within the walls of this 13th century sea-girt castle with
grand Venetian fortifications is an oasis of flowers and
trees, a tranquil convert and a cluster of quaint
whitewashed houses along narrow cobblestone
plants.
Occupying a headland jutting into the sea the
fortress of Methoni , which had its heyday in the
period from the 13th to the 15th century, is one of the
most impressive medieval sites in Greece.
VOIDOKOILIA
BEACH
Voidokoilia has been hailed as one of the best
beaches in the world by most travel publications! Its
sandy beaches form a semicircular strip of dunes in
the shape of the Greek letter omega (Ω);.

excavations. Discover the place where the Olympic
games were born. Admire the Temple of Hera, where
the lighting of the Olympic Flame takes place every
four years, and watch your children run a 50 meter
sprint in the original ancient Olympic Stadium.
CORINTH CANAL
Cruise through the magnificent Corinth Canal that
cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and
separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland,
thus effectively making the former peninsula an island!
BEFORE YOU
LEAVE…
Arrive at the Port of Piraeus in the late afternoon.
Before departing for the airport enjoy an early dinner
at the picturesque Mikrolimano marina. Allow the
