RES4MED - Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean
INTERNATIONAL DESIGN CONTEST
“New Logo for RES4MED”
RES4MED invites entries to an international contest for the design of its new logo.
RES4MED is a non-profit association established in December 2011 by CESI, Edison, ENEL Green
Power, GSE-Gestore dei Servizi Energetici, Politecnico di Milano and Pricewaterhouse Coopers
Advisory. Its aim is to promote the use of renewable energy sources and of related grid
infrastructures, as well as efficiency measures in energy production and consumption in the
Mediterranean basin, favouring the sustainable growth of energy demand in the area and
responding to the needs for diversifying supply sources. RES4MED intends to give its contribution
to ongoing initiatives that are in line with its vision, in order to solve their critical success aspects.
RES4MED will thus carry out the following activities:
a) foster the deployment of renewable energy sources, by contributing to the analysis of the
financial, infrastructural and regulatory pre-requisites for integration of the overall
Mediterranean electricity market;
b) further cooperation and collaboration among institutions, industries, academia and
associations which are already active or intend to be active in the Mediterranean basin,
with a view to developing technical and economic research activities and encouraging
investments in sustainable projects.
