The Biggest Revolution of All Time
The Industrial Revolution led to many inventions and innovations which we now take for
granted. Read the accompanying text: History of Engineering, and discuss THREE of the five innovations
that changed society during the Industrial Revolution and why and how they impact us today. They are:
1) Agriculture to Industry
2) Foundation for Change
3) New sources of Power
4) Expansion of Infrastructure
5) Resource availability
Remember only discuss 3.

discuss how our society today would be different if it was not for these early advancements in
